Gold medallists pop into Panasonic

Olympic gold medallists visited a Bracknell-based London 2012 sponsor to share their success.
Workers at Panasonic’s headquarters met Wokingham’s Anna Watkins and her rowing partner Katherine Grainger at the Willoughby Road offices.
The duo, who stormed to victory in the women’s double sculls rowing at Eton Dorney, showed off their gold medals and discussed their Olympic experience with staff.
The pair also each received a Panasonic Smart Viera TV, which the company are giving to each Team GB gold medallist in recognition of their achievements.
Katherine, who was nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year, said: “I’m thrilled with my new TV and can’t wait for it to be delivered.”
Panasonic were the official Audio Visual Equipment Partner at London 2012.
