£60m drug smuggler jailed

A Woosehill man has been jailed for his role in a £60 million drugs smuggling gang.

Eight people including Christopher Wills, of Sparrow Close, have been jailed after police busted what they describe as one of the biggest drug distribution operations ever seen in the UK.

Wills, 29, was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison for his role in the gang which used flower lorries to import skunk cannabis from Holland.
