Neighbours favour closure of railway crossing

Plans to close the Waterloo Road level crossing as part of a 2,500-home development were backed by neighbours.

Nine in 10 residents, surveyed by Priest Avenue Residents’ Association, are in favour of shutting the crossing if the plans for the homes south of Wokingham town are given the green light.
