More cash needed to cover pothole repairs

Extra funding to keep the borough’s roads pothole-free may have to be released following January’s severe weather.

Snow and freezing temperatures during January have caused an influx of potholes on the borough’s road network.

Wokingham Borough Council’s highways maintenance contract has covered the cost of filling the gaps, however a review of road conditions may lead to a demand for further funds.
