This year's Wokingham Half Marathon was won by a first-timer who also smashed the course record.
David Webb, 27, of Tripton Harriers, set a new record for the half-marathon when he ran it in 64 minutes and 50 seconds at the weekend.
Around 1,300 ruuners braved Sunday morning's heat to take part in the 13.1-mile race, whichy started and finished at Cantley Park.
Mr Webb's impressive time bagged him a new £500 prize given to anyone who breaks the course record.
The first lady to cross the line was Sunningdale’s Sarah Gee, 47, in 70 minutes and 10 seconds.
As well as the main half marathon, a junior fun run was organised shortly after the main race had begun.
Maiden Erleigh pupil Beki Taylor, 14, sped to victory in the mile-long run narrowly beating Callum Gregory, 12, into second place.
