Cureton in for Reading FC legends v Wycombe Wanderers

Jamie Cureton will pull on a Reading shirt as he takes to the field for the Ex-Royals against Wycombe Legends on Saturday.

The 36-year-old striker scored 55 goals in 127 games for the club from 2000 to 2003 before leaving to join Korean K-League side Busan I.cons,

Cureton will make his first appearance for the Ex-Royals side this season as they face Wycombe at Adams Park (3pm kick-off).

The game is to commemorate the Chairboys’ 125th anniversary – with former Wycombe and Royals striker Keith Scott putting together a side for the hosts.

Former Royals player/manager Mick Gooding, Michael Gilkes, now an Academy coach at Madejski Stadium, Simon Osborn, Barry Hunter, Martyn Williams, Kevin Watson, Tom Jones, Stuart Beavon, Neville Roach, Nas Bashir and Andy Gray are also signed up.

Wycombe Legends include: Paul Hyde, Chuck Moussadik, Matt Crossley, Ty Gooden, Steve Guppy, Steve Thompson, Simon Stapleton, Keith Ryan, Jason Cousins, Keith Scott, Mark West, Glyn Creaser, Darren Currie, Miguel De Souza, Dave Carroll, Kevin Keen, Andy Robinson, Tommy Mooney, Jim Melvin, Paul Bodin and Scott McGleish.

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and free for children (limit to six tickets per booking), rising to £10 for adults and £2 for children on the day of the game.
