Reading FC Premier League season ticket prices down

The celebrations with the Royals continue with news new season ticket prices are cheaper than they were the last time Reading FC were in the Premier League.
The club announced yesterday season tickets for the 2012/13 campaign go on sale mid-May and this time loyal Royals will save £40 in the majority of stands for adult season tickets while childrens’ are up to £135 cheaper than six years ago.
Old and new supporters are due to bring the town to a standstill on Sunday when the Royals’ victory parade rolls through Reading.
Two open-top buses will set off from Friar Street at 12.30pm before a huge party in the Madejski Stadium from about 2.30pm.
Buses emblazoned with blue and white ‘Champions’ banners will make their way to the stadium for games, giveaways, the all-important trophy presentation and the Player of the Season announcement.
Tickets cost £1 – free to season ticket holders – with all proceeds to the Duchess of Kent House Charity.
Kingsley will be at the ground all day and supporters will be able to consume alcohol in their seats.
Royals clinched the npower Championship title on Saturday thanks to Southampton’s 2-1 defeat at Middlesbrough. Reading drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace at Madejski Stadium and were confirmed league champs two hours later when Southampton fell.
