Ingimarsson now out until late August

Captain Ivar Ingimarsson insists he won’t rush himself back to action after his injury comeback was put back.
It was hoped that the 32-year-old would be fit enough to play a part in yesterday’s behind-closed-doors friendly with Aldershot, which Royals lost 2-0.
But now it is anticipated that Ingimarsson won’t be back in full first-team action for around another three to four weeks.
“My fitness is okay,” Ingimarsson told getreading.
“I’m getting along fine. At the moment I’m still only training with the physio, but we’ve been increasing it all and strengthening. It seems to be going okay.
“I’m still not training with the group. When that happens I will need my pre-season games like the rest of the lads, so it’s a little way off still.
“I feel fine, I had much more time out last season and this isn’t so bad.”
In Ingimarsson’s absence 24-year-old centre-back Matt Mills will skipper Royals against Southampton on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
Manager Brian McDermott will field his strongest side possible at St Mary’s with Mills set to play against his younger brother Joseph.
Former Saints midfielder Brian Howard should partner Jay Tabb in the midfield and another ex Southampton star, Grzegorz Rasiak, is hopeful he will have recovered from a rib injury he picked up during the 2-0 win over Inter Zapresic in Croatia.

Sometimes I can't help thinking Poundland might be a more appropriate sponsor!

Jonny Fordham rubbished this on the webchat during the Wolves friendly.
I know he's a left back, but I'd love for us to get Joseph Mills.
Hope that Jack Mills can step up this season then..

I fear we probably need to offload Mooney/Davies/Cummings before we could bring in Zurab
