Dire Reading lose to Fulham

By Adam Lee
April 13, 2008

Reading were plunged back into the relegation dogfight after losing 2-0 at home to Fulham on Saturday.

Royals were totally outclassed by Fulham, who hit the bar three times, as goals from Brian McBride and Erik Nevland condemned Reading to their second successive loss.

Kevin Doyle's first-half header from a John Oster cross was Reading's best chance of the game, but the ball went inches wide with Kasey Keller beaten.

The silver lining to the game was the introduction of Glen Little on the hour. The winger made his first appearance in a year and provided some teasing deliveries and glimpses of his trickery on the ball.

"Guess what ? no sign of Madejski again.. probably keeping his heady downy as usual"

You losing your memory? Can you not remember Mr Madejski saying he'd probably not be able to attend some games due to his broken ankle? You commented on the article too!
