Keane swoops for Royals ace

Sunderland are ready to battle it out with Aston Villa and Portsmouth in a bid to land Reading defender Nicky Shorey.

I understand the Black Cats and Villa have made offers for the left-back, but neither have met Royals’ valuation, while Pompey boss Harry Redknapp has expressed an interest.

   Shorey cost us £25,000 from Leyton Orient and going by the press (as I don't know him personally) he appears to not want to play for Reading anymore. Anything above £25,000 is good business.

   Sombody buy this over-rated piece of cr@p so we can finally get rid of him! England international my ar$e! If we get £5mill for him I'd be well chuffed.
