Twice in the lead and within five minutes of three points, the Moles conspired to let this game slip away from them as Nomads grabbed an unlikely win in the Hellenic Premier Division.
A goal up from Carl Davies' 29th-minute penalty, the Moles were again in control of a match, after a good first half where both sides had chances.
And even when Nomads drew level midway through the second half, a second Carl Davies goal with 12 minutes remaining should have been enough, before Nomads' late show.
Having taken the lead in all but two of their 12 matches, most concerning for manager Mark Tallentire will be how his side give their lead away, having lost four and drawn one of those 10 matches where they have started so well.
Another week without a midweek fixture isn't ideal either as the Moles would rather get back on the pitch soon after this one.
But they have to wait until next Saturday when they travel to high-flying Slimbridge when the Moles mettle will be tested.
