Finch provided the perfect reply to last week's disappointing defeat with a stunning demolition job on Milton United in Hellenic Division 1 East.
The hero of the day was striker Harry Swabey, who helped himself to four goals, while there were two for Greg Alexander and one apiece for Josh Sapsed and Stewart Manicom.
Within three minutes the home team were two up.
The ball went back to Richard Evans who found Swabey straight down the middle and the striker's pass was finely placed for Alexander to nod into the net inside a minute.
Two minutes later Lajos Nasca slotted a through ball to Swabey who shot low at the left hand near post to leave Theo Dalton, the visitors' goalkeeper, stranded.
Sapsed then made his presence felt as he saw a fine shot saved by Dalton.
The Finches began to monopolise possession and territory, and it was 3-0 with 13 minutes played as Sapsed received the ball from Alexander and finished with style.
They were denied a fourth when Swabey was tripped in the area by Adam Felix, but the striker's penalty was saved by Dalton.
Dalton again had to be alert to save from Scott Hunter, while Swabey fired over after a flowing team move.
Finch finally added to the total in the 35th minute as Swabey picked up on a loose clearance and prodded home low into the corner at the far post to make it 4-0 at the break.
Skipper Adam Barnard was replaced for the second half having been knocked out by the ball hitting him during the first half.
With Ross Hunter never really troubled in the Finch goal, the home team had license to continue to push forward.
Swabey completed his hat-trick on 61 minutes when Scott Hunter sent him a useful pass and he shot low into the right hand corner of the net.
Stewart Manicom then came on to replace the injured Nasca, while Nick Cooper replaced Sapsed.
Harry Swabey grabbed his fourth with 15 minutes to go before Alexander fired home from a Manicom cross to make the score 7-0 with five minutes left on the clock.
Richard Kell then supplied the pass to Manicom to head home the eighth and final goal low into the back of the net with seconds to spare.
Next week Finchampstead are away to Cheltenham Saracens in the Blue Fin Insurance Challenge cup, while the reserves visit Woodley Town Res in the Reading Junior Cup.
