Centre-back Callum Eagle scored his third goal in four games as Wokingham grabbed a late equaliser at Slimbridge and left the home of the early-season title contenders with a point.
It once again shows the strength that boss Roger Herridge has at his disposal as, even with Luke Lee, Matt Jones, Sam Duffelen and Tom Hopper all missing, Wokingham were still able to gain a valuable point.
Slimbridge took the lead in the opening 10 minutes as Dan Holloway won and converted a penalty for the hosts.
The first chance for Wokingham came mid-way through the half as winger Chris Newlove squared to Elliott Rushforth whose 30-yard effort went just wide.
The best opportunity, however, came on the half-hour mark when Chris Wateridge raced down the right wing and found the unmarked Chris Newlove at the far post, but his shot also went wide.
Dave Bellis had a great shout for a penalty when he appeared to be brought down in the box, but the referee was not convinced and immediately blew his whistle for half-time.
After a tight opening to the second half, Wokingham soon raised their game and had Slimbridge in their own half for much of the game.
Wateridge saw an effort well held by Slimbridge keeper Dave Evans, while a perfect cross from Alex Walton fell to substitute Tom Williams, but his header went a whisker wide.
Wokingham continued to press forward in numbers, but it wasn't until the last minute of the match when they levelled as Slimbridge failed to clear their lines and Eagle was on hand to score from close range.
Boss Roger Herridge was pleased with the performance that his young team put in on the day.
"We had to be patient, but at the end of the day we were certainly good value for the point," he said.
"In the first half we passed them off the pitch.
"We got our rewards in the end and we could have nicked it, but at least we came away with a point.
"We probably did enough through the 90 minutes to win the game, but I am very happy."
Wokingham travel to Palmer Park to face Highmoor Ibis in the FA Vase first qualifying round on Saturday,
