The Fizzers left it late to secure their place in the quarter finals of the EL Records League Cup on Tuesday night.
The match had to be replayed having been abandoned due to fog last week with the Fizzers 2-0 up after 74 minutes.
The first half was a rather scrappy affair with the home side edging it and the Fizzers finding it hard to get going.
A strong half-time team talk then saw the Fizzers slowly exert their superiority and they should have edged it in normal time after having the lion’s share of possession and creating a number of good chances.
The winner came on 115 minutes when Toby Jannaway fed an inch-perfect pass through two defenders out wide for Chris Farrelly to cross and Vinnie Bond to head home from close range.
Sandhurst now play Farnham away in the quarter-finals.
Sandhurst Town: Baker, Watson, Millerick, Gradosilieski, Eagles, Thomas, Farrelly, Thomas, Palmer, Bond, Hibbert. Subs used Rapely, Jannaway, McNichol.
