Sandhurst Town FC 4 Colliers Wood United FC 1By Tony Dean

Sandhurst Town bounced back to winning ways in the Combined Counties Premier Division on Saturday at home to Colliers Wood United with a convincing win.
The Fizzers set out their stall early, and their early pressure paid off when midfielder Toby Jannaway was brought down in the box by the Colliers Wood keeper Daniel Burnett.
Although Burnett avoided a straight red card, captain captain James Mepham sent him the wrong way with a confident spot kick.
The hosts continued to press hard and after Vinnie Bond went close from outside the box, leading scorer Mepham took advantage of a defensive error to seize possesion, beat two defenders and strike home from the edge of the area.
Colliers Wood were not without their chances, though, as new keeper Paul McCarthy pulled off a fine save at full stretch to deny a certain goal.
Fizzers young striker Vinnie Bond was rewarded for his efforts on 39 minutes when he cut in from the left hand side and blasted home from a tight angle to make it 3-0 at half time.
Although Colliers Wood enjoyed a little more possession after the break, scoring a consolation from the penalty spot on 80 minutes through striker Adam Willis, Fizzers responded instantly to put pay to any feint hopes of a comeback.
Some patient build up play saw new signing Mark Gradosielski release Jannaway with a precision pass and he took one touch before striking home with venom and sealing a fine win for Dean Thomas’ men.
