Derby for Robins in the FA Trophy

The FA announced the draws for the opening rounds of its cup competitions this week.
And by far and away the most intriguing of the draws for the area’s sides was the The FA Trophy First Round Qualifying.
This sees Bracknell Town pitted against fellow Southern Leaguers Thatcham Town on Saturday, October 17, and the Robins will be desperate for revenge their local rivals for completing the double over them last season.
Binfield also have a couple of interesting fixtures in the cups.
After their exploits in the FA Vase last season, Binfield will be looking to go one step further this year when they host New Milton Town in the first qualifying round on September 5, with victory securing a tie away to Kidlington in the next round.
The club’s historic venture into the FA Cup will also begin on August 29 when they host Colliers Wood United in the Extra Preliminary Round.
