Bagshot Road have regrouped over the past few weeks and today put the pressure upon Athletico Priestwood by taking a 4-2 lead to the final 15 minutes of the game.
Unfortunately for the home side, Athletico weren’t happy with this and scored 4 times in the closing minutes to win the game 6-4.
Dan Lewendon, Colin Hutchins and Gary Campbell (2) all netted for Bagshot with Mike Gooch and man of the match Shane Levey (5) grabbing the goals for Priestwood.
Bracknell Manics could not stop the full attack of Finchampstead Ath as the visitors won comfortably 4-1. Josie Escorcio (3) and Kalin Krumov made sure of the points for Finch.
Crowthorne and Green Man battled for 90 mins and neither team could take the upper hand as the game ended 2-2.
Dale Clark and Paul Graham scored for Crowthorne, with Michael Brewster grabbing a brace for Green Man.
Emmbrook Inn had a bad day at the office as they were outplayed and outscored by opponents Winkfield, leaving with a 6-1 defeat.
Zac Spencer (2), Andy Bourne (2) and Ryan Coupland netted the goals for Winkfield with Harry Scope netting the consolation for Emmbrook.
William Twigg Albion and Wokingham United played a top of the table clash with the winners surely able to close in on the title.
It was the Twigg who took all 3 points as Scott Williams bagged a hat trick upon his return from injury to give his side a 3-1 win. Darren Thorne scored the only goal for Wokingham.
