Sim gives Norfolk hope

Norfolk An Hope recorded their first Bracknell Forest Standard Summer League victory as they saw off bottom side The Imps in Week Six.
Both sides went into the game having failed to register a point, and it seemed the spoils were going to be shared when the scores were tied at 2-2.
David Goodall and Luke Openshaw gave Norfolk a 2-0 lead, but a brace from Andy Brown pulled Imps right back into it.
However, Scott Sim was in the right place at the right time to slot home and give Norfolk a 3-2 win in the final stages of the game.
Manor Old Boys’ win returned them to the top of the table, albeit on goals scored, and finished Keltar Old Boys slim title hopes in the process.
Keltar found goals hard to come by for the second week running, and the leaders made them pay with goals from Sean Cahill (2) and Brent Swaden.
Stuart Clapson pulled Keltar back to 2-1, but Manor extended their lead from the spot to take a 3-1 victory.
Unreal Madrid are in fine form and moved up a place to sixth in the league with an impressive 3-1 win over Bracknell Boys.
Tom Cooper gave Unreal Madrid the lead in the first half, but Bracknell Boys levelled things soon after through Dan Walker.
However, second-half strikes from Luke Whitehorn and Tim Bovingdon made it two wins in a row for Unreal Madrid, as they ran out 3-1 winners.
3M FC moved up to third in the table following a 3-1 defeat of an under strength FC Royals.
3M have in-form striker Mark Tyler to thank for the win as his clinical double took him to eight goals for the season, moving him to the top of goalscorers charts.
Ryan Dixon netted 3M’s other goal, while Tom Fraser’s strike had earlier brought Royals level.
