Gautham Kamath's century helped Purley on Thames 2nd beat Chiswick & Latymer 2nd in Division 5A.
Kamath, who hit 104, was assisted by Steve Purser who made 94, as Purley recovered from 35-3 to post a daunting total of 280-6.
In response, Nick Holman’s 6-42 ensured Chiswick were dismissed for 192, 88 runs short of victory.
Purley lie just behind Sonning 2nd, who are three points clear at the top of the table despite their losing draw to Chesham 3rd.
In reply to Chesham’s 198 all out, Steve Roberts hit 54 to help Sonning finish on 174-9, and claim eight valuable points. Brian Cooper claimed 6-61 for Theale & Tilehurst 2nd, but it did not stop Kew 3rd posting an impressive 222-9.
Theale could only make 169 in response as they went down by 53 runs in the Division 5B game.
Maheesh Chandra’s 6-23 helped Wokingham 3rd overcome a difficult start to defeat Maidenhead & Bray 3rd in Division 6B.
Wokingham, who remain on top of the league, posted just 117 after 46 overs, but Chandra helped to dismiss Maidenhead for just 51, sealing a 66-run win.
Hurst 2nd came up short against Teddington Town 2nd.
Despite Wayne Morgan’s 59, Hurst’s total of 180 was too easy for Teddington who knocked off the runs inside 32 overs to win by six wickets.
Mark New produced astonishing figures of 7-7 as Kidmore End 2nd completely annihilated NPL Teddington 2nd.
New tore Teddington to shreds as they were dismissed for 35 after 19.2 overs.
Kidmore had no problem in response, hitting the runs inside nine overs without the loss of any wickets.
Reading 4th probably thought 230 was enough to beat Aldershot 2nd, but they went down in the end by eight wickets.
Chris Reynard made an unbeaten 72 for Reading, but Aldershot 2nd eased to their total, finishing on 238-2 and winning by eight wickets.
Theale & Tilehurst 3rd won by nine wickets against Royal Ascot 3rd.
Ascot’s total of 115 did little to worry Theale, who knocked off the runs in 25 overs, thanks to Vishal Sharma who made 56 not out.
Matt Drewell’s unbeaten 80 ensured Eversley 4th made light work of Yateley 3rd in Division 8A.
Yateley only managed 141 after 50.5 overs, and, despite losing Robin Brooks for a duck, reached their total with nine wickets in hand.
Royal Ascot 4th overcame Yateley 4th in Division 9A.
Ascot made 169-5 in their 52 overs and managed to bowl Yateley out for just 137 to seal a 32-run win.
Bracknell 2nd had a disastrous day though as Cove 5th dismissed them for just 52, and they could only take three wickets in response as Cove ran out winners by seven wickets.
Kidmore End 3rd secured 20 points as their game was cancelled by Chiswick & Latymer 4th.
