Treble hero Barrie inspires Fernhill to cup triumph

Division 4 side FC Fernhill produced a magnificent performance to beat Division 1 high-flyers Finchampstead Athletic Res at Larges Lane in the Junior Cup final on Friday night.

After trading a few early blows in a frantic first few minutes, Fernhill’s Richard Corbishley mistakenly played Finch’s Joel Havermans in for a chance on goal, although keeper Hobden was on hand to clear the danger.
