5. Seven deputies for Lord Lieutenant

The Lord Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire has appointed seven new deputies to assist her in representing The Queen in the county.

The former High Sheriff, Lady Stevenson, of Ascot, has been appointed by The Hon Mrs Bayliss along with His Honour Judge Charles Elly, who is the designated family judge for Berkshire.

Lieutenant Commander Peter Goodacre RD, the president of the St John Ambulance in Berkshire; Richard Griffith-Jones, current chairman of the Berkshire Community Foundation; Richard Griffiths, the deputy undersheriff of the Royal County of Berkshire; Sarah Scrope, a former president of the Newbury & District Agricultural Show; and Her Honour Judge Zoe Smith, resident judge at Reading Crown Court, are the other deputies.
