They were playing Stade who as usual wore a florid variation on the theme of pink. It did not stop them punishing a lacklustre Worcester in the first of a string of home defeats.

Thursday 13 October 2011Saturday. I am up early to watch the World Cup. As a London Irish supporter more London than Irish I support Ireland when they are not playing England and England at all other times. It was not a good morning. Both countries lost. The good news is that we get the rest of our boys back. The bad news is the other clubs do too.
