All things housing will be discussed when a property fair rolls into the borough next week.
Residents wanting to learn more about the housing options available locally are being invited to attend the Wokingham Homes and Housing Fair on Thursday, November 18, from 2pm to 7pm.
The event, which will be held at The Oakwood Centre in Headley Road, has been organised by Wokingham Borough Council and its partners Catalyst Housing Group, Housing Solutions, Sovereign Housing Group and Thames Valley Housing.
Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about affordable housing options in the area and also get advice on renting, buying, mortgages and benefits.
Information regarding the council’s open market equity loan scheme will also be available on the day, and visitors can also pick up tips on making their homes more affordable and environmentally friendly to run.
Councillor Julian McGhee-Sumner, executive member for social care at the borough council, said: “The fair is a great opportunity for the people of Wokingham to come along and speak to a range of housing experts.
“We are delighted to be hosting such an informative event.”
The fair will run from 2pm to 7pm. For more information call (0118) 974 6082.
