Poll: £3,000 civic bash
A civic soiree for councillors and dignitaries in Wokingham is to be hosted next month at a cost of £3,000 to taxpayers. Is it right?
It is disgraceful, we are all tightening up our belts, living in fear of losing our jobs, and this is where our council tax goes.
Of course it is fine, councillors and dignitaries do such a good job they deserve to party.
Scandalous. Outrageous. All those involved should stand down now.
It is neither right or wrong, this thing happens every year.
