Driver seriously injured in Finchampstead hit and run

A driver suffered a serious head injury after being hit by another vehicle which then drove off.
The man had parked his grey Saab 93 by the side of the road in Nine Mile Ride in Finchampstead to inspect a problem in the back when he was hit.
He was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after the incident, which happened between California crossroads and Queensmere roundabout at around 11,30am on Tuesday, February 19.
A large white van was seen leaving the scene immediately afterwards in the direction of Bracknell.
