Police investigate generator and chainsaw sales around the borough

Police are investigating reports of generators and chainsaws offered for sale across the borough.

A man with an Irish accent, aged 45 to 50, with dark hair and who is clean shaven, is reported to have been spotted trying to sell the items in Arborfield, Hurst and Swallowfield. In Farley Hill three men in a silver Nissan were reportedly trying to sell chainsaws and generators to farmers.

Anyone with information should contact the police on 101.
