Wokingham Borough Council also wants to hear what people think about its park and ride strategy.
The document sets out plans for the development of park and ride facilities between 2012 and 2026, including two proposed park and ride locations as part of the Reading area Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF).
The proposed sites are Mereoak at Junction 11 of the M4 and Winnersh Triangle next to the train station.
Councillor Keith Baker, executive member for highways and planning, said: “The council has consistently said it wishes to keep a park and ride in the area of Loddon Bridge, despite many rumours to the contrary.
“The site at Winnersh Triangle is an ideal replacement location, close enough to make little difference to the users yet far enough from the river and the flooding issue.
“We have long recognised park and ride services not only provide better accessibility to town centres, business parks and other major destinations, they also help reduce congestion and carbon emissions.”

Email your views to transportplannning@wokingham.gov.uk or send them to Highways and Transport, Neighbourhood Services, Wokingham Borough Council, Civic Offices, Shute End, Wokingham, RG40 1WL.
Comments on the two park and ride locations must be received by Friday, February 22. Anyone wanting to give their views on the draft strategy has until March 29.

Why mess about with buses when there's a railway line?
