Burglars smash into Winnersh home

Burglars smashed their way into a Winnersh home before taking perfume and jewellery.
The thieves broke into the Robin Hood Lane home through a rear window at 3.15pm on Wednesday, January 23.
The owner was home at the time but was only alerted to the intruders' presence when they heard a noise at the front door.
They saw a red transit-style van at the scene.
A white gold necklace, two bottles of perfume, a chain, a pendent and a number of pieces of costume jewellery were all taken from the home.
