Three arrested over Hurst cigarette raid

Three men have been arrested after around £5,000 of cigarettes and tobacco was stolen during a burglary at a Hurst store.

Two 21-year-olds and a 19-year-old, all from Reading, were released unconditional bail until Monday, February 25.

The Central Convenience Store in The Street was targeted in the early hours of Thursday, January 10.

@PonaRana - because people over 21 don't commit crimes?

By the way, they don't have to smoke to realise that having cigaretttes is a profitable job, the government know, they make a profit.

PoneRana - I suspect it was to sell on, rather than for personal consumption. You could argue that if the government didn't keep putting the prices up this wouldn't have happened as they would not have been worth so much, but we all know that was for the greater good...

Perhaps if we stopped selling cigarettes to the under 21s and strictly monitored it, they would never have taken up smoking and this robbery would never have happened.
