Car veers off M4

A car swerved off the M4 and collided with the embankment this morning (Sunday).
Firefighters from Maidenhead and Wokingham Road stations and police were called to the westbound side of the motorway between junctions 8/9 and 10 at just before 7.30am.
Crew manager Ché Scott, from Wokingham Road fire station, said Maidenhead were first on scene and found no one was trapped so the fire crews turned back.
He added police remained on the scene.
