Three affordable homes to be built in Wargrave

By Jon Nurse
January 24, 2013

Three more affordable homes will be built on a development on a former garage in Wargrave.

Two three-bedroom homes and a shared ownership house will be built on the site of the Gleneagles garage in Victoria Road. Sovereign Housing Association, which built 10 affordable homes in the village’s King’s Acre development last year, will be running the project.

Roger Keeling, Sovereign’s regional development director, said: “This is an expensive and very desirable area to live, but local surveys have shown there is a very real need among local people for affordable homes.”

All homes are affordable. Do they mean cheap homes or just poorly built homes ie rabbit hutches.

Rubbish. More unaffordable homes is what we need.
