Police hunt witnesses to womens' road rage fight

By Hugh Fort
January 15, 2013

Road rage got the better of two women who ended up scrapping after an argument.

Police are hunting witness to an incident involving the drivers of a silver Ford Galaxy and a Green MGF who got into an altercation in Murray Road, Wokingham, at around 9am on Friday, January 11.

After the row, they both drove off with the Ford following the MGF into Nine Mile Ride in Finchampstead.

The drivers then got out again and continued to argue, which then escalated into a fight between the two women.

Neither was injured, but police are keen to speak to witnesses after quizzing the two women.

The driver of the Ford is white, in her late thirties, around 5ft 3ins tall, and was wearing a dark-coloured gillet, black leggings and Ugg-style boots.

The MGF driver is also white, in her mid-to-late thirtes, with shoulder length light-brown hair.

She was wearing a long, beige coat.

PC Russell Davies, investigating the incident, said: “We have spoken to the women involved in this altercation but are keen to speak to any independent witnesses who saw the incident in Murray Road or Nine Mile Ride.”

Anyone who saw the incident can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

I think this story title is misleading. are the Police really "HUNTING" for witnesses to this waste of our tax payers money and if they ARE activly hunting witnesses, WHY???. Two chavs scrapping in a road is hardly something i want MY money being wasted on being investigated so, why not do some REAL police work and stop all those idiots speeding up and down the Woosehill spine road. for example.
