Plans for future development sent to Secretary of State

By Laura Herbert
January 11, 2013

Plans that set out where future development will take place across the borough have been sent to the Secretary of State.

Wokingham Borough Council put together the Managing Development Delivery Development Plan Document (MDD DPD), which was submitted on Wednesday, December 19.

The document includes policies to help guide future developments, sets settlement boundaries including development limits and lists allocated sites earmarked for development.

Copies of the document can be found at www.wokingham.gov.uk/submittedmdd, at all borough libraries or can be bought at the civic offices, in Shute End.

That's my ne favourite ridiculous acronym:

Managing Development Delivery Development Plan Document (MDD DPD).

Could they not have snuck the word "Development' in there a few more times?
