Floods close roads and more rain forecast

Motorists are still unable to use Sonning Bridge this morning due to flooding.
Thames Street and Playhatch Road are closed both ways between the junctions with Henley Road and Pound Lane.
Loddon Bridge park and ride is also out of action today due to flooding and an inspection will take place this afternoon to determine if it will operate tomorrow.
Rail services between Reading and Paddington are running normally this morning after yesterday's severe disruption which was due to an electrical fault causing engineering works to overrun.
Flood alerts remain in place on the River Thames between Mapledurham and Sonning and on the Lower River Loddon at the confluence with the Thames at Twyford.
A flood warning exists on the River Loddon affecting Twyford, Charvil and Wargrave.
The Met office is forecasting an overcast day today with the likelihood of heavy showers tomorrow and a drier day on Sunday.
