Severe flooding update: Old Wokingham Road to remain closed overnight

Severe flooding means Old Wokingham Road will remain closed overnight.
The road has been closed between Easthampstead Road and Waterloo Road since this morning.
Severe flooding closes Old Wokingham Road
A Bracknell Forest Council spokeswoman said the road was closed in the interests of safety and will be inspected first thing tomorrow and will be re-opened as soon as conditions allow.
Drivers can take an alternative route down Easthampstead Road and Waterloo Road and this route reversed.
The diversion involves two level crossings so drivers are urged to allow extra time for their journey and take extra care.
