Man suffers head injury in A4 crash

A driver is in hospital after his convertible car hit a traffic island this morning.
A black Mercedes E250D was in the collision on the A4 near Twyford at 1.37am.
The driver, a 58-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital and is being treated for a serious head injury.
Investigating officer PC Matthew Clayton said: “I’m keen to try and identify any witnesses that may have seen the collision or the Mercedes being driven along the A4 from the direction of Knowl Hill towards Twyford prior to it leaving the road.”
