Schoolchilden to help decorate town's Christmas tree

Schoolchildren will help decorate Wokingham’s Christmas tree next week.
Wokingham town mayor Councillor Peter Lucey will receive the decorations from pupils and hang them on the tree outside the town hall, in Market Place.
Wokingham Choral Society will sing carols at the fourth annual event, which will take place between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 28.
Cllr Gwynneth Hewetson said: “Yet another annual event where we can all celebrate the season in a traditional way as a community.”
