Tree falls on busy road

Traffic negotiated a fallen tree in Nine Mile Ride this morning.
A small willow tree fell near the California crossroads overnight but didn't have a major impact on traffic flow this morning.
A Wokingham Borough Council spokeswoman said: "The road was blocked for a matter of minutes and it didn't stop traffic as it was very small."
The council contracted a workman who cleared the tree at 8am.
