Kitchen fire in Clifton Road

Two fire crews were called to a kitchen fire in Wokingham at around 5.15pm this afternoon.
Crews from Wokingham and Wokingham Road stations rushed to Clifton Road but the fire was out on arrival.
Wokingham crew manager Russell Gascoigne said no assistance was needed.
Firefighters from Wokingham Road did not leave the fire engine and were back at the station within half an hour.
