A teenager from Hurst will jet to Paris this weekend as she represents Ireland in the Face of Europe Grand Finals.
Aisling Humphries-Griffiths, the current holder of the Teen Face of Dublin title, will be competing in the European beauty pageant at Disneyland Paris starting on Sunday.
The 15-year-old said: “I’m very excited and I’m really looking forward to meeting the other European girls. It will be so much fun.”
Finalists will model an array of ball gowns, evening and cocktail dresses, make a dinner speech and be tested when interviewed by the judges.
Aisling, who is a pupil at St Joseph’s College in Reading, is being sponsored in the competition by Nirvana Spa in Sindlesham.
Spa director Julie Collins said: “It is such an exciting opportunity. It’s a pleasure to support a local girl and wish her all the very best in the grand finals.”
