Bands and choirs invited to Christmas fair

School, charity and community bands and choirs are being invited to perform at a garden centre Christmas fair.
Heathlands Garden Centre is looking for carol singers, brass and Salvation Army bands to take part in its free festive weekend on Saturday, November 17, and Sunday, November 18.
Tracey Jennings-Brown, manager of the garden centre on Heathlands Road, said: “We are looking for entertainers who can provide festive-themed entertainment for our Christmas shoppers.
“It will be a great opportunity for people to promote their organisations or charities to our visitors. We are looking to link with local community groups and organisations, school choirs and bands and panto societies and anyone relevant who might like to come along on one or both days to promote themselves to the several hundreds of customers who will attend the event."
