A Land Rover was stolen and two cars burned out as thieves targeted a farm.
Burglars sneaked into Matthews Green Farm in Matthews Green Road, Wokingham, in the early hours of Sunday, stealing a dark green Land Rover, damaging two caravans and rummaging through a third.
The offenders gained access to a storage yard via a back gate between midnight and 6am and broke into a caravan. There they carried out an untidy search without taking anything before damaging another two caravans and stealing a metal jack.
The thieves broke into and stole a Land Rover, registration number D552 BJF, that has been modified with a tipper on the back and with Gress Gardens signs on its sides. They drove it out through the back gate across a field and onto the Twyford Road.
Two cars were also found burnt out in a field behind Matthews Green Farm on Sunday morning. The cars were a black Land Rover Discovery and a Mitsubishi Shogun. Police are treating these incidents as linked.
Police are appealing for anybody who has information about these incidents or saw the stolen vehicle in the area around the time of the offence to come forward.
