Woodley teaching assistant to be sentence for sex offences tomorrow

A teaching assistant from Woodley who admitted a string of sexual offences involving teenage boys is due to be sentenced on Friday.

Emma Webb, 42, of Kingfisher Drive, is due to appear at Reading Crown Court for the hearing.

She admitted 16 counts of abuse of trust offences under the Sexual Offences Act during a plea and case management hearing in the same court on Thursday, August 30.

Webb committed the offences, including having sexual intercourse and committing sex acts with teenage boys, while working as a cover superviser supporting teachers in classrooms at a Wokingham borough school, which cannot be named for legal reasons.
