Park and Ride closed on Friday due to flood risk

Wokingham Borough Council has announced the due to the high river levels and more rain expected, the Loddon Bridge Park and Ride will be closed again tomorrow (Friday)

A spokeswoman from the council said the authority hoped to be able to re-open the park and ride on Saturday, depending on the weather.

The Plaza in Wokingham town centre was also flooded today and had to be partially closed.

The ford at Lands End is also closed.

There is a flood alert for the River Loddon including Twyford, Charvil and Wargrave.

There is also a warning for the lower part of the river at Swallowfield, Arborfield, Shinfield, Barkham, Lower Earley, Sindlesham, Winnersh, Woodley, Hurst and Waltham-St-Lawrence.
