A4 New Bath Road closed for manhole cover repairs

Manhole covers on the A4 New Bath Road are receiving emergency repairs today.
The road is closed in the Reading bound direction between Twyford and Charvil, at its junctions with A321 Wargrave Road and A3032 Old Bath Road.
The restriction, which will only be in effect while traffic signs are displayed, began this morning and is expected to be completed today.
A diversion is in place via the southern section of the A321 Wargrave Road, A3032 High Street and A3032 Old Bath Road.
A Wokingham Borough Council spokeswoman said: "We apologise for any inconvenience that this closure may cause. If you have any comments or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0118 974 6000."
