Pedestrian fighting for life after accident in Earley

A man is fighting for his life after being hit by a car in Earley in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The 43-year-old pedestrian is in a critical condition after an accident involving a Toyota Prius in Wokingham Road at around 5am.

Thames Valley Police confirmed the man had suffered life threatening injuries and was being treated at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to call PC Martin Danks, of the Joint Roads Policing Unit at Three Mile Cross by contacting the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

   Is it me or do there seem to be loads of accidents happening at the moment?

Or is it all of them are now being reported?

Yes accidents...not collisions...
