Old Bath Road in Twyford to re-open tomorrow, but more closures comingBy Jon Nurse

Long-suffering motorists in Twyord should be able to drive along Old Bath Road again from tomorrow, but more road closures are imminent.
Works on the Old River South and White bridges in Old Bath Road were scheduled to take three weeks in July, but three delays have forced the road closure to drag on for almost eight weeks.
Last week, more defects were discovered on the brickwork on the Old River South bridge, which needed to be repaired prior to other planned works.
Contractors have been working during the evening and weekend to finish as soon as possible.
The road is anticipated to be re-opened tomorrow evening and works may continue under traffic lights for a further three weeks during off-peak times.
But more road closures are planned around the village this week.
Wargrave Road and High Street will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 8pm to 6am for resurfacing works, which will move to Church Street and London Road on Friday night, with closures between 8pm and 6am.
London Road, from Pennfields up to High Street, will be closed for two nights from Monday from 8pm to 6am for resurfacing works.
