Delays likely as Station Road goes one-way

Drivers in Wokingham face a week of disruption as water works continue in Station Road.
The road will be one-way only from today until Monday, September 10, while the work to install new water mains continues.
Drivers coming from Barkham Road will not be able to turn right at the level crossing and instead will have to follow a one-way system up Station Road, Wiltshire Road, Peach Street, Denmark Street and Wellington Road.
A letter to people living nearby from the council said the work will cause major disruption and advised drivers to avoid the area.
