Sam Mason and Mario Scinto pick up construction awards

Two construction trainees from Wokingham have been named winners at this year’s National Construction College (NCC) Awards.
Sam Mason won the General Construction Operative Year Two category, while Mario Scinto came top of the class in the Year One category.
The pair were also commended in 12 categories including flooring, highways maintenance and essential skills.
Mr Mason said: “Being nominated for an award was great – but to actually win one in my category was a real surprise.
“It’s a great reward for the work I’ve done and I’d like to thank the training staff at the NCC for the help they have given me and the other apprentices.”
