Drug dealer to repay £22,000

A drug dealer will pay pack more than £20,000 in ill-gotten gains after police successfully confiscated her assets.

Wokingham woman Francesca Fattore, 32, handed over all her assets - worth around £7,300 - to Reading Crown Court and owes a further £14,700 if she ever earns it, after a hearing on Thursday, August 2.

Police arrested Fattore after receiving information suggesting she was selling drugs in Twyford in March last year.

Officers found a half a kilogram of cannabis, diamorphine, £300 in cash and a taser when they searched her.

She pleaded guilty four charges and received a 48 week prison sentence suspended for 18 months and did 150 hours of unpaid work.

On top of that, police pursued the confiscation order which was granted by Judge Stephen John earlier this month.

The court ruled that the seized drugs were worth £2,300 but that rose to £22,000, including the value of her four vehicles.

Accredited financial investigator Steve Tedder from the asset recovery team said: "Fattore tried her utmost to distance herself from ownership of any assets but failed to provide any supporting evidence.

"I hope that this result will reassure our local communities that Thames Valley Police will use every weapon in its arsenal to remove drugs from our streets and drugs profits from the dealers."
