By Jon Nurse
August 08, 2012

Two cars were involved in a crash in Winnersh early yesterday evening.

A crew from Wokingham fire station was sent at around 6.40pm to deal with the collision near the traffic lights at the Sainsbury's superstore in Reading Road.

Nobody was trapped in the cars and firefighters finished checking the vehicles had no dangerous leaks by 6.50pm.

I called the council 2 years ago because the signposting has never been finished properly. Guess what?? Not a thing has been done about it!

Its actually a junction that could benefit from less signposting. Its definitely information overload with too many traffic lights and signs.

Note that it said 'near' the traffic lights and not 'at'. Could just be accident with someone pulling out of the driveway near there.

Another crash at this cross roads. In the evening again. At least its not fatal this time...... Probably time the council had another look at this junction.
