Delay to bus service 122 extension
August 01, 2012
Plans to extend the 122 bus service to Pinewood Campus have been deferred.
A decision was due at Wokingham Borough Council’s executive meeting last Thursday.
A route extension would improve public transport between Wokingham town centre and the Johnson and Johnson campus in Nine Mile Ride, Crowthorne.
There is currently no peak hour bus service between Broad Street in Wokingham or Wokingham train station and the campus.
Three options have been suggested to councillors, which would cost between £40,000 and £50,000, for five or six years of operation.
